Stuck under a heavy bush, wedged in roots, or buried deep in a bunker? USGA Rule 19 gives you a way out. In golf, you are the only judge who can declare your ball unplayable, allowing you to take relief and get back in the game.

- Where It Doesn't Apply: You cannot use Rule 19 if your ball is inside a red or yellow penalty area. You must use Rule 17 instead.
